I expect that you may be using a cheap local only account and you're frustrated you cannot see our website. I'm sorry about that, I can understand such frustration but it's no reason to take out your frustrations. One of the reasons why we're called Vanilla is because we are 'no frills'. That means we keep our overheads low and similarly our pricing as competitive as possible. We don't waste. I've had people sending me messages putting down myadsl forums because of this comment and that's not fair to your community.
Thanks for your concern about my internet connectivity, but thats a little off topic...
Now most ISP's with a largish userbase would be quite happy to host websites on their infrastructure.
Why is this? Well, you pay for Xmb/s of transit bandwidth, and you end up using Xmb/s of bandwidth on your inbound. Most of your outbound bandwidth sits idle, because you have more eyeballs on your network than content.
But then again, these rules only apply to real ISPs, with real transit and peering agreements. So I would understand why some ISPs would be reluctant to host content if they don't get paid for the traffic.
My appologies for drawing attention to your ISP.
