i notice alot voip providers are actually more expensive then telkom???
can anybody please tell me which is the cheapest

Take a look at www.backsla.sh/betamax - I think www.poivy.com is one of the cheapest at the moment at 6 Euro cents per minute. Overall www.voipraider.com might be your best option.
