Cheapest calling rates

Which network offers the cheapest cellphone to cellphone calling rates?

I think its Virgin Mobile by far....

99c per minute billed per second to any network in SA. Talk for 2 minutes and get a 3rd minute free. All billed per second even the free minutes, making it effectively 66c per minute......

Its very cheap actually. Data is a bit more pricey than cellc but not much.

Quick comparison:
Cellc: 99c per minute.

R100 airtime on prepaid = 101minutes to any network

Virgin Mobile: 99c per minute and 1 free after 2 minutes

R100 airtime on prepaid = 151minutes to any network

Yeah 50 minutes more than cellc....

Only if every call is longer than three minutes. Don't have any stats but I am sure most mobile calls last less three minutes. Looking at my own use I only have about 10% of my calls lasting longer than around 5 minutes.

Agreed, SIM-SONKE 29c p/m onnet, 75c to others, per second billing and some other (minor) benefits. Good for stationary person with TM coverage, not for travelers, as SIM is non-roaming (like GoBig data).

Yes but its accumulative.... So if its 1 call or 15 callc of a few seconds it still adds up to the 3rd minute free after 2 paid for minutes...

Yeah I'm very keen on getting a sim.... I just need that sim and a redbull mobile sim then I have atleast one of each...... I absolutely hate to pay more than I am supposed to. So I make sure I have a sim on every possible good deal to make use of it.
