Cheapest i5 laptop?

http://www.incredible.co.za/product/86774/toshiba-satellite-p50-notebook-demo/

Although its a demo unit. I went to Sandton City and saw it, its in great condition. R4999, its a steal.

Thanks, it seems to be all sold out :(, all the Toshiba demos, would have grabbed the i7 model, that was also a steal. Sweet that they have 4 USB ports.

I am also looking at the:

Better CPU performance, http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-4210U-vs-Intel-Core-i5-4200M , and not to worried about battery life. Can take up to 16GB RAM unlike most that seems to be limited up to 8GB when looking at their documentation and 4 USB ports, pitty no reviews really or it being in stores so I can judge the screen. Win 8.1 Pro is a pro too, means I can use Win 7 Pro, don't have to go buy it separate

Go to find stores, call Sandton City and speak to Khaya. I asked him to keep it for me but didn't take it, this was last week.
Just saying...

Holy sheet, laptops have skyrocketed in price. I guess that's due to that Monopoly Mandela Money you use back there becoming even more worthlesser than usual. Can't even get a Core i5 laptop for under 7k? :wtf:

Evetech has a Lenovo on special, I'd pick that over the Chinese "Proline" (actually Clevo) any day. Not that Clevo isn't good, just that their support is nonexistent where you are.

Also it's faster & cheaper.

Thanks, looks decent and its a Thinkpad, ticks the RAM and USB and Win Pro boxes

CPUs specs and performance are basically the same http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-4210M-vs-Intel-Core-i5-4200M

They legit?

Some great prices on the Dell refurbs for example. Easy for me to upgrade the RAM and such.

Thanks for the help guys.

I was there today, they in Linbro, didn't buy anything was taking something in for repair, they handle the warranty for a few brands
