Cheapest reliable 128GB USB flash drive?

Anyone seen a cheap reliable 128GB flash drive?

According to the spec's of my device it only supports 32GB - I'd like to try more - it'll be for music/video.
 
Take a look at the latest Esquire Birthday flash drive specials. R269 (excl. VAT) for a 64GB Kingston Data Traveller R30 USB 3.0 drive is a really good price. The Data Traveller 101 64GB (only USB 2.0 speeds) at R249 (excl. VAT) is also good value. I bought several Transcend JetFlash 350 64GB drives using several Takealot coupons and these were selling for around R322 before the discount.

Not worth getting one, might as well just buy a 1TB. You paying too much for the 128GB (cost per gb)

You could try to see if a USB powered HDD works. Use a short cable. One could also plug in a 3.5inch externally powered drive while your car is in the garage. You want to see if your device can read FAT or FAT32 systems with >32GB of space.

R800 wasted on a 1tb drive... Doesn't work, not enough power... Back to looking for a flash drive.

Look for a Y-cable, use a phone charger USB port to power the drive and use the connector on the cable to connect to the deck.
 
Other option is to recode all music as 128 kbps MP3 or 112kbps AAC. It should sound the same. One can then fit more music on a 32GB stick and maybe rotate sticks.
 
If you've got a USB SD card adapter and a 128GB card you could always try it that way.

Won't work... I want all my music on one flash drive.

I'll let you know - unfortunately made that mistake before online, ended up with one of those 4Gb's formated at huge :p
