Well my router broke today. A new Billion is R800. Any idea where I can get it any cheaper? Pc int is around 950excl

Incorrect. That is a router with an ADSL port... so you still need an ADSL modem for it.
This is the correct one:
Code:
Billion Wireless 7300G ADSL Modem-Router

Normal Price: R835.00
Member Price: R720.00
Save: R115.00

ADSL Port = Surely this allows the Router to make a PPP session on the Router. So if you use an ADSL modem with it where are you going to plug the ADSL modem in…..5200G has no Wan port for a PPPoE connections nor a USB interface to make a PPPoE connection….

What about the telscum one, is that one not much cheaper?

PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE)
Provides embedded PPPoE client function to establish a connection. Users can get greater access speed without changing the operation concept, sharing the same ISP account and paying for one access account. No PPPoE client software is required for local computer. The Automatic Reconnect and Disconnect Timeout (Idle Timer) functions are provided, too.

ADSL Multi-Mode Standard
Supports downstream rates of up to 24 Mbps and upstream rates of up to 1 Mbps. It is compliant with Multi-Mode standard (ANSI T1.413, Issue 2; G.dmt(G.992.1); G.lite(G992.2)), G.hs (G994.1), G.dmt.bis (G.992.3), G.dmt.bisplus (G.992.5)). The Annex A and B are supported the same H/W platforms.

There is a Billion/Telsum love baby for R1500!

I bought one earlier today at amtrix for R899 :(

It's a Billion 7300G RA

To be honest the signal quality is weaker than that of my old Premium Combo.
