While I have never used @lantic they seem to have created a very well priced option for those who want control of their ADSL spend and only want to pay for what they use.
Basically it chucks in 1 free gig per month and then you get billed R15 per gig for each gig you use there after. To control overspending they have a maximum threshold that you can select so it won't go over your budget, and of course if you use less you will pay less.
Seems like a good option if you use a relatively small to medium amount of data. Maybe a good mom and pop option.
Here is a link to it: http://www.lantic.net/products/adsl-dial-up/consumer-adsl/gig4gig-adsl/gig4gig-home.html
What do you guys think?
And no I am not a company shill, this just looks really good for the low end mid range guys. You only pay for what you use.
BTW I believe the backbone would be VOX/Datapro
Just checked Afrihost and they are only cheaper from 50+ GB
