Dammit. I use Spar2U.
And they don't kill me driving the wrong way up the sidewalk, or backwards into trafficI don't mind if a Nigerian Prince deliver my groceries, as long as it is fresh and quick.
Damn, what a coincidence!Goolam alleged that Sixty60 had created 9,987 jobs, around 9,900 of which were held by foreign nationals. That works out to roughly 99.1% of the total workforce.
I am curious what will happen when this labour source is made unavailable?
Won't happen IMO. Migrant-labour builds countries.
Motorcycle Safety Institute of South Africa founder Hein Jonker previously raised concerns over the driving qualifications of on-demand delivery service drivers.
Hein Joinker has to either be ignorant or disingenuous. 9 out of 10 times it's middle class cyclists, who drive like maniacs and exhibit road rage. The guy's organisation is a joke.
Another angle. The supermarkets at malls are usually the anchor tenants that attract people to malls who become aware of other businesses in the mall. Deliveries are eroding this customer base. Will malls increase rentals of anchor tenants due to this, making those deliveries more expensive?
Well, at some point, the Mall owners will lose those "anchor" tenants, as you do not need a Mall premises, to run a delivery operation from.
I'm lazy for using Checkers Sixty60? LmaoHere it's lazy people who earn little and spend what they earn on deliveries. Drive to the mall yourself, and do your shopping that way. Or deliver by van once or twice per week max.
Then the mall will die.. I've seen malls that have anchor tenants move out.
Happens
This. They're a pita zooting everywhere without a care in the world. Ban them
Sure, it does. Now you have the socio economic effects of the rest of the desirable businesses moving out and cheap businesses moving in. This results in the neighbourhood property prices dropping and the area around the mall becoming less desirable. Resulting in residents moving out and as fast as they can and a decline in the desirability of the area. The desirability and income of the area were the reason for putting up a mall in the first place.
It's exactly what happened in US cities that refused to prosecute shoplifting. The businesses moved out and the area became a crime hellhole.
Every effect has a knock on effect. People never look further than the tips of their noses when it comes to selfish convenience.
That is par for the course, these days especially.
