checking tower name?

hi,

how do i verify which tower i'm connected to in a certain location. i've enabled the text on the display but it just shows 'RSA MTN'.

i'm wanting to get the tower name and then enquire about EDGE support.

i dont get area info on my card (either that or ive never found it ) try putting the sim in a phone and use the area info option perhaps?

It would be nice if I could say that I predominantly use Tower X and it is working fine. Now if I get switched to Tower Y, then it should be safe to assume that there is a problem/overloading etc. with Tower X.

There would be a better understanding of problems form the users side.

Mtn could the give a posting that Towers A-C are going to be down for maintenance. Not just that JHB will be experiencing problems.
