Chevrolet

I think i am getting somewhere. Would the 1.4 Corsa Essentia be a good move?

On of the best cars in the universe - came 3rd in the JD Power Quality survey, scores top marks in Euro NCAP safety, even for its pedestrians safety rating. The 74kw 1.4 delivers enough punch to have fun in it and its relaxed on long journeys.

Did I mention I have one ;)

Awesome :). I must say i have never looked at the Corsa before but it is very nice! I shall find out if he got a quote for it yet.

I do think that the new-spec 1.4 Corsa is a solid buy at the price.

There was some issues with the OPC model is I am not mistaken. You can see some of them raised in my buying a 1.4 essentia thread and also in this months issue of CAR Magazine someone wrote in to complain about the same thing, erratic idling. Luckily I have not had any issues (touch wood) on my 1.4 Essentia

Edit : Comparison made in the other thread is out dated and ever so slightly biased.

That response was unexpected

Anyway the Corsa is a good car, certainly better than the Aveo or whatever else he was considering.

I think the GM Red Tag sale has been extended nationwide so maybe he can haggle the price down?
