Child brings grenade to school

GOLD BAR, Wash. --Police were called to Gold Bar Elementary School Monday morning after a student brought what appeared to be a grenade to class.

However, it was determined the grenade was inert and non-explosive, according to a note school officials sent home to students.

Police removed the device and no one was hurt.

There is no word if the student will face any disciplinary actions.

Forget about kids bringing guns to school. Next time a bully goes beatin' on a kid he's head be explodin'!
