Chimei Monitors.

Anybody uses this brand? I heard it's good and I am planning to get one. Would like to get a feedback or two from users.

Its sounds dodge, why not just go for a "normal" well known brand, or is this one just much cheaper?

Once upon a time they did make good monitors, but they weren't well known here in RSA, mostly due to the fact that you could not find it anywhere... But, like Rickster said, rather go for a well known brand, especially here in RSA were warranties and returns can be a big issue with smaller brands.

Chimei manufactures quite a *large* proportion of the LCD screens on the planet, so i wouldn't worry. They're a HUGE company.
I have a Chimei Innolux panel in my TV for example (a rather boring 4k resolution 39" panel)

Forget about brands, what you need to look at is what type of panel the screen has.
Check if its an IPS panel, is my advice.
