The US was never in control in Afghanistan. The conflict never ended. That's what winning means. Their famous debacle at Kabul airport during their withdrawal is a case in point.

The US was in complete control of Afghanistan. There we minor IED incidents but all decisions were nade between the US and the Afghan government. Conflict ending doesn't mean a side won. There is always conflict after a war. It's called partisanship.

He has a chip on his soldier and thinks that because he patrolled the SA border in what was mostly a jobs program for poor whites, he somehow is deserving of a special caste status.
