China - Taiwan Developments

China can just call it a Special Military Operation. That is not a war or an attack. It is just to keep the Taiwan people safe and they are historically the same nation. /s

Edit: Typing that out and reading it is just an absurd notion. Yet there are people who really believe that bs.

But dont wars require some sort of declaration ?
I mean (Z)special operations occur all the time.
They arent war in the letter of the law are they ?

It's not only historically that they are the same nation, the Republic of China is currently considered a part of the People's Republic of China by most of the world. Only 13 of the 193 United Nations member states have full diplomatic relations with the Republic of China and the USA isn't one of them. Currently, the13 countries are, Belize, Haiti, Vatican City, Honduras, the Marshall Islands, Nauru, Palau, Paraguay, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Tuvalu and Guatemala. These are the only countries that recognize the Republic of China as an independent country. The rest of the world continues to consider them a part of China mainland. At least officially.
