Hi everyone, i am thinking about purchasing an Ainol 7 Elf tablet from Bidorbuy, but am just worried about performance and compatibility? The specs seem to be pretty impressive though..

Does anybody have first hand experience with this tablet?

The name "Ainol" bothers me a bit. "Hey man... check out my new Ainol tablet"

Hey bro, I got caught in this trap too. Bought a Flytouch 3. Chinese equivalents are extremely laggy, offer no support in the market (or its very limited). While they get you on the price eventually you will end up throwing it away and getting something more mainstream.

I know I did......

Ainol Paladin. Nifty little devices I wouldnt pay over R1500 for one.
Just have a look and make sure you are indeed buying original device, I have seen several fake ones of the same device on bidorbuy.
I recently got myself a Coby Kyros from ebay , 10.1 inch for R2000 including shipping etc. They also have nice custom roms running ICS .

Friend got a similar tablet off of bidorbuy, all in all it was comparable to my Ideos S7 slim.

Thanks for the advice guys - however after checking out some youtube videos and reading some reviews, i think the Ainol(lol@thatname) Elf- is the real deal - will get it and let you guys know...

Not familiar with the Ainol(!) 7 Elf - but some of those cheap tablets are brilliant at the price. Better if you can try before you buy though, others are not that good...

Best of luck.

Hey I've had one for about 6 weeks, absolutely love the thing. You will probably need to update the firmware as the initial firmware were a bit buggy.

look here for latest custom roms and info.

3G on superpad flytouch 3

Hey, please can someone assist? I bought it on Bid or Buy and I'm trying to connect to the net using my 3G Vodacom sim in the built in slot on the device - but I can't get it to connect, it has android 2.3. Any suggestions? I took it to Vodaworld techies, still no luck :(
