You miss the point - once a university has lost its credibility, it's over. It needs to be beyond reproach when it comes to these things.

Some universities already have a bad name and if they confer degrees without the student having met certain criteria, it gets even worse.

I don't work in government. I work for a firm who does consulting for government every now and then. Which brings me to my next thread which will be posted in a few minutes!

Of course we prefer to stick to the private sector clients. I am still trying to get payment for work we did for a particular province in October last year. Pathetic! On the flipside, we sometimes do work for certain companies belonging to Patrice Motsepe. If I submit an invoice today, the money is in the bank account tomorrow. Viva capitalism viva !!
