My Physio referred me to a Chiro! :D
He said that some Chiro's are definitely quacks, especially the ones who bring out the crystals and incense and crap.
But he said that most Chiro's are very professional and can do stuff that he is not able to do.
He has come to the realisation over the years that some re-alignment is often very necessary.

Been to two different ones, none of them did any of that crap, if they did I would have walked out.
Chiro was my last option before back surgery, glad I took the chance to go see one.

Ya... I think there is a lot of rivalry between the two professions. I have seen a lot of physio's so manipulations now... so that means that the two professions are influencing each other.

Its not fair for them to bad mouth each other... both achieve results.

A lot of people find manipulations dangerous though and find being twisted around too scary... then they resist the manips.

Well - my chiro, referred to me [-]here ;)[/-] [Ha! It was Capt. Faptastic - thanks dude] was very good.
3 sessions and my lower back pain (which was extreme) was sorted.

I should actually go for a checkup again and get some more needles stuck in me :D

Be cautious about allowing neck manipulations.

Rather surprised so many people seem to think Chiro's are quacks.
Well if they either abandoned all their magical nonsense or finally provided research to prove it true, then they wouldn't be viewed as crackpots. There's also the question of the quality of their training.

I've only gone 3 times, ever - and each time I felt great afterwards - like my skeletal frame has been realigned like a car's wheels.

No repeat visits, no racket. You'll just have to find an honest one I guess.

That how I feel after a Pilates class.
