Choosing a gaming mouse

The special edition is better. It's got a textured grip and has an extra button.

That is a good price for that mouse. I would go for it.

Are those guys reputable though?

Yeah comx are good to use just the shipping is a problem they wanted me to get a courier to pick up the case. Would have been R300 for that not insured :O ps shipping could have changed by now.

Yeah I see that, they want to charge me R65 courier fee and I am in Jhb. Isn't that a bit high compared to other places?

I was considering buying that sidewinder just because it was such a good deal, but their supplier doesn't have stock and hasn't had in over a month. WTF good is that, take the freaking thing off your site then, or aleast put out of stock instead of wasting my time. *irritated*

This happens very often. Unfortunately it's impossible for a supplier to keep a (r)etailer informed of stock levels of hundreds/thousands of products. :(

Totally and I appreciate that, but they have know for well over a month that the supplier has no stock, so why not take it off the site, or put up a note stating "no stock, ETA: unknown" easy ;)

+1, quite irritating when people tell that your order is coming on a day and doesn't, even thought they got a thumbs up from their supplier.

What I think annoyed me the most was the guy actually sends me a quote for the mouse + delivery - now why send a quote when your supplier doesnt have stock, hasn't had for over a month and can't tell you when they getting?

Sounds alot like what Sybaritic did to me when I was purchasing the SideWinder for a friend two months ago. It took them a week to tell me they didn't have the SideWinder in stock, after payment was sent a week before. They suggested the SideWinder X5 as a replacement, so I agreed and waited again for another week whilst this time being updated daily saying the mouse would come next week. The next week arrives, they tell me that there isn't stock of the X5 and they suggest to me my original order being the SideWinder. Whilst thinking "WTF, I asked for that in the first place", sent an email asking for a refund and telling them to sort themselves out because it was a waste of my money and time. Refund was processed swiftly with R100 added on top with an apology.
