Hi Guys,

I have been running on Axxess with the 384kbps fibre account but since there move to mtn backbone I've has numerous problem with speeds and latency.

I am looking to move to another ISP got about a budget of about R900 a month I willing to spend. If you do recommend an ISP please also specify who provides their backbone.

Thanks

R699 for Telkom 4 meg uncapped including the line rental and cheaper if you want only a 1 meg line

Afrihost 4mb business uncapped - no issues to date. Service and follow up has been excellent. Cannot fault them.

Technically, the ISP is Plugg and backbone IS. Although from the same company, IS is what defines it.

What I meant was is that they are not a re-seller of IS, they are the consumer division of IS.

Went to Telkom Direct. 2 sales rep and the manager said that that R699 does not include line rental, that R699 is infact a bundle. If I am still wrong now then I dont know. was looking forward to using that R699 deal ;(

From the website:

Cost
R699.00per month(2)
+ Telkom Line Rental
R148.37per month(3)

Total Cost
R847.37per month(4)

no bundle includes telephone rental, only adsl rental and the ISP account as shown in the above picture.

Average daily use 19.55GB!, Afrihost is becoming so damn tempting over mweb's premium service! not to mention their basic uncapped is really stupid for users who need real uncapped
