Chrome for linux coming along nicely...

I grabbed the latest development build for ubuntu and it's quite stable.

Gtk theming works nicely too.

YES!! I can finally have my favourite browser in Ubuntu.....it just keeps getting better. :)

My only problem? I've got a laptop with Intel onboard graphics.....and Firefox 3.5.2 starts to crawl when there's any flash animations on the page I'm browsing. Guess my beloved Chrome browser will behave the same. :(

I have a laptop that uses an intel chipset (HP530 Business). I have no issues with flash or video on my Debian. It is an Intel 945GME iirc.

flash and java working?

Yes a little, but I've not tested it yet.
This is an in-progress build of Google Chrome on Linux.

We are still working on many pieces, in particular:

Plugins (e.g. Flash) are partway implemented and will cause frequent crashes. Use --enable-plugins to turn them on if you're ok with that; the browser is otherwise quite stable
Printing
Other parts of the browser are notably incomplete, poorly tuned and broken. User beware!

Sounds like a newer Intel onboard graphics chipset than mine.

I've got the old 82XXX Intel chipset. Hopefully it will be fixed with Intel's latest driver.
