Just noticed chrome now shows a green secure bar.

Lets encrypt sites now looks uber professional.

Can of worms to be open, since I recal from a previous thread the biggest drawback was that lets encrypt does not appear as trust worthy as other certificates from a end user point of view, but now with chrome giving that extra visual notice it should help put lets encrypt on the map?

Seems if you now want to differentiate yourself you will need to get a EV certificate.

You think so ? I put on lets encrypt last night and mine seems fine ? It was soo dammm easy !

Actually the green bar also depends on your cert level. Some certs will just show the lock but more expensive ones have the added benefit of the bar to the appearance.

*Edit* check the first option, that green bar is the EV I think it's called. -> https://www.thawte.com/ssl/
That changed now.
Hence this thread.

Chrome now shows a green bar instead of the green lock it used to.
