Even though Chrome is 99% perfect the standard spell check and dictionary are rather piss poor, its not nearly as good as basically anything else.

Isn't there a way I can have it reference Google for spelling suggestions or something?

I find a lot of the time it knows the word is spelled incorrectly but doesn't have suggestions, and more so other times the suggestions are not what what I'm looking for or anything to do with the word.

Yup it works well enough in free mode. Sometimes it gives some kak suggestions for corrections that are obviously wrong but it's easy enough to ignore.

So far I'm happy, don't understand why the one on Chrome is so rubbish, mostly an incomplete dictionary.

Can confirm that Grammarly is awesome. Been using it for years.

The only times you ignore it are when you are deliberately using colloquialisms, which in a forum is pretty often. But it's still great for picking up stupid errors even then.

It's a real shame that the Premium subscription is so expensive. $29.95pm billed monthly, $19.98pm billed quarterly or $11.66pm if billed annually. If it was $4.99pm Grammarly would surely get a s**t ton of impulse subscriptions from many of their free users.

Ah I see, now, on to the next matter, who is in the photo?

Would be good to also have a process to auto-correct a typo as we type...I see sometimes MacOS web-typing does this; haven't seen it in Gmail or on Chrome (typing on forums like this one).

Well I use it for writing on my wordpress blogs hosted by Godaddy. https://www.systosys.com/2019/06/connect-godaddy-domain-name-to-blogger-blog.html While troubleshooting a domain redirection issues, I received ping reply as destination host unreachable. Solved the destination host unreachable error by following it. https://www.corenetworkz.com/2009/05/destination-host-unreachable-reason-and.html If it was $4.99pm Grammarly would surely get a s**t ton of impulse subscriptions from many of their free users.

Yasis...
I too use Grammarly for checking spelling mistakes and grammar errors. Even the free version has all the facilities a normal writer needs.

Yeah, no. Send everything you type to Google? And just for spell check, when Grammarly is free and does syntax and grammar checking in addition to what is probably a superior spell check anyway? Don't see the appeal...

I have been using LanguageTool for a while now. From my usuage, it has been a fairly solid tool.
