Consilium Software have just released Chrontacts for the iPhone. It sorts and lists your contacts by date you added them, starting from the most recent contact.
The inspiration was from having to scroll through all my contacts one to many times to remind myself of someone I recently added. It could also be very useful if you meet someone at a bar or club and can't remember their name the next day
