Getting up and Running with Apexdc 1.5.0 on the Circle of Fire
1. Download Apexdc 1.5.0 from These Links local links Or
YOU NEED WINRAR FOR THIS SET

Download Par 1 - 3. Before Extracting.
2. Once Downloaded Extract the rar files (You Will Need Winrar or 7Zip)
3. Run Apexdc Installation File, If your Firewall Asks, (Allow It)
4. If you are upgrading from 1.4.3 Select Custom Install
5. Untick (Custom EmoPacks) as well as (GeoIP)
6. Click Next
7. It will give you an option to install Driverscan Pro, I recommend No
8. Select Create Desktop Icon / Current User Only) Store settings for each windows account.
9. Once Installed Open and Run Apexdc
10. NOW For the setup
RELEVANT STEPS TO GETTING UP AND RUNNING WILL BE NUMBERED...
EXTRA OPTIONS OR EXPLANATIONS WILL DENOTED AS (a) (b) (c) etc.
In Apexdc you’ll find a Toolbar at the top. For This Manual I’ll be Working Left to Right
Following Each Option .So e.g. if you click on file, Menu drops down, explanation of each point.
a) FILE OPEN FILE LIST - Once you have downloaded someone’s file list, you can quickly open a saved List of theirs.
b) OPEN OWN LIST - This will allow you to open your own shared files, as another user would see them.
This would also be used so you can paste a magnet link of a specific file in the hub, which makes it easier for the person to download a file from you.
C) MATCH DOWNLOAD LISTS - This will search your list and compare it with another users shared files.
d) REFRESH FILE LISTS - This will auto refresh your shared file list with any new content you add.
1) E) QUICK CONNECT - This will allow you to enter the hub Address. Which Is - :

f) FOLLOW LAST DIRECT - This will auto connect you to the last hub you were redirected to.
g) RECONNECT - This will auto connect to the hub you were connected to last.
SETTINGS - REFER TO MANUAL EXPLANATION IN DIFF SECTION BELOW
VIEW TAB...
a) Public Hubs - Lists International hubs on the Hub list
b) Recent Hubs - Views The recent hubs you connected to
c) Favorite Hubs - Will show your Fav. Hubs, these will Auto Connect If The box is Ticked.
d) Favorite Users - This will allow you to see your favorite users, they will auto get a slot from you if you select them as favorite. I.e.) No Queues
E) Search - This will open the search View, Where you can specify a file you would like to find on the hub.
f) ADL search - Search using a File string
g) Search Spy - Useful to see what other users are searching for, you need to leave enabled to gather results.
h) CDM Debug - Messages (Will report errors or faults)
I) Notepad - Useful for keeping notes of anything you wish, close tab to save what you have written, and Click the icon to open again.
j) System Log - Will show you File List Refreshes etc.
k) Always on Top - Keeps Apexdc on top of all windows, in background, useful for watching a movie etc. while you are on the hub.
l) Tick boxes so as not to display diff options in Apexdc
TRANSFERS
a) Download Queue - Shows the files in queue waiting to download from other users,
You can also manage your queue by Giving high preference to files, cancelling or pausing them
b) Shows All completed downloads (CNTRL - Z) Will open the directory were they have downloaded to.
c) Upload Queue - This will show you all the files users have requested to download from you.
d) Finished Uploads - This will show all the completed files or parts of to users that have downloaded from you.
e) Network Statistics - This will show you the upload and download speed of your connection while using Apexdc
WINDOWS
These options will allow you to customize your Apexdc, as in Cascade View / Horizontal View etc.

Nick – Fill in Any Nick You’d like to Use on the Hub
Email – Optional
Description - Your ISP and Your Line Speed
Line Speed – Drop Down select Closest Option to your line speed.
3.) CONNECTION SETTINGS
How are u connecting to dsl... is it using (1) ppp (DIALING your internet connection into modem)
Or (2) Username and Password for your internet connection is SAVED in modem
If its first option, make sure the points a) b) and c) are correct as per below.
If it’s Option (2) DO ALL THE FOLLOWING SETTINGS
Bind Address
Network Interface - 0.0.0.0
Select Firewall with Manual Port Forwarding
Below that is TCP – (The port no. you enter here is 60616)
Below that is UDP - (The port no. you enter here is 60616)
Below that Is TLS - (This is a secure Port Protocol Leave it as 0)
Below that Is DHT/UDP - (Leave this on 0 as well)
b) Wan I.P - Leave Blank
Tick Don’t Allow Hub / Upn To Overwrite
c) Outgoing Connection - on Direct Connect
DO PORT FORWARDING ON YOUR ROUTER FOR TCP AND UDP using same port number as entered in apex – 60616 in the Tcp and Udp Fields.
Please check www.portforward.com for a guide for your modem, If you really battle, a hub operator will help you out, so you can get started.
Bandwidth Limiting

DOWNLOADS
Set your default Download Directory as well as Incomplete Downloads dir.
(PLS SHARE BOTH FOLDERS) To Open your Download Dir. Use Shortcut Cntrl - z
Favorites
Set your fav/ download directories, so u can easily specify if its music / video etc. were to save.
File Preview
If you have enough parts you can preview a file

Priority Settings are set here

SHARED DIRECTORIES
Tick all the folders that you’d like to share on the hub.
After Each tick, it will ask you for the Relevant Name for Each Folder Share
I.e. / Audio / Video / Game etc.
Network Share
You can also share folders across a Lan or
External HD (Please Assign Your External a Drive Letter, and Switch Drive on First before Opening Apexdc) Prevents files being hashed again.
Auto Refresh Time – Change to 15 Mins. (Will Auto Refresh Your List if more is Shared)
Max Hash Speed – 9999 (Shortcut Key For Refreshing your file list is Cntrl - E
UPLOAD SLOTS
Specify the amount of Upload Slots
I.e.) The number of Uploads From you to a user at One time.
Important Please Note
On a 384k line - Open 1 slot
On a 512k line - Open 1 slot
On a 1meg line - Open 1 - 2 Slots
On a 4meg line - Open 2 - 3 slots
On a 8meg / 10meg Open 6 - 8 slots
Small upload slots – the default is 3 and set to 512kb
Optional - allow incomplete partial downloads an extra slot No
