City Power new schedules

According to ESP. City Power is going to be changing over to new blocks and schedules at midnight tonight. Of course CP has handled it with their normal level of professionalism and has informed nobody about the immanent change over in times and new configuration of blocks.

I've found 2 documents on CP site here:

I don't know if I'm right but I believe that somebody involved with ESP posts on mybroadband. Could they or anybody else that might know confirm if these 2 documents are up to date and accurate?
 
Yeah City Power have actually made it worse, at stage 4 there will be days where we are off 8 hours a day, at stage 6 we will have 12 hours off, the jackass who drew this up must've been bumped on his head.
There is literally 4 days in a row where my area will be off for 8 hours a day thanks to this schedule.
Like wtf actual frak. Now tomorrow I'll be off from 4pm to 6pm and again from 8 to 10???

In all honesty I haven't been able to make sense of the schedule, it is hurting my eyes on screen. I'm going to have to print it out and look from there. But I'm expecting a disaster, CP has been too quiet about this.
 
Who even signed off on this schedule? This is a lot worse then it is now. Feels like they are trying to silently increase the amount of load shedding without bumping stages

All they've done is shift a slot around, it's like you literally just could've left it as it was.

You don't want to, there is no logic to it at all, basically we're getting shed more... in the so called guise of only having 2 hours a session. Which would be great if we didn't have a 1 1/2 hour gap between them.

I’ll stick with our regular Eskom slots on an 8 cycle

Block 14? Yeah looking at the schedule, it seems that it's only block 14 that's getting ****ed over like this. None of the other blocks have 1.5 hours between sessions.

I think this is supposed to be done in conjunction with load limiting but I don't know how far they are in rolling that out. But looking at your schedule it looks like JHB is going to take the brunt of the loadshedding for the country. I don't know how we are supposed to live with it, even with load limiting in place. Exactly how does CP think business are going to run with this setup? Last week was a disaster for my side of town. Large areas failing to come back from loadshedding, or tripping for hours or days.

I've also noticed that the blocks themselves are a mess. Suburbs that aren't anywhere near each other are being lumped together. How is that going to improve restoration time when CP is running from one side of Joburg to the next? And some have a huge amount of suburbs and others only a few

This is a good example of the incompatince at our municipality. I hope CP is forced to backtrack or make changes.

I've just updated ESP. What a mess. Some days are worse than others but still. We all stuffed on the higher stages.

ANC welcom to use this as their new election slogan: We take a bad situation and make it worse.

Yeah I see now, my bad. Seems they decided that after 4pm they're going to **** over everyone on certain days. This is going to be chaos as they're unable to bring the power back on after loadshedding on a regular day, queue the 6+ hours without any electricity.

I can already see it lol, enjoy not having power for a couple of days at a time. You are going to report at the end of your 30-minute "restoration window", it will get allocated 4 hours later, just as your next 2-hour block ends, they are going to eventually send a team out probably as you are going into your next 2-hour block, so they will sit around for an hour and then bugger off, then you are going to have to fight to get them back as the session ends, they are only going to come back probably following the next 2-hour session, at which point the fault is due to a trip in another block, rinse repeat, enjoy not having power for a few days while they try to make sense of what the **** broke trying to get to site and find the fault within 2 hour windows.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ****kkkkk
