Civilization 7

Civ 6 is fun but you need to back off a bit and come back to it.
For 4x I go to the Galactic Civ series as a break from Civ
I've got VI, still not impressed with it, IV is my goto, especially the futuristic mod - I do wish someone would remake a proper good Call to Power. Anyways, and I like Civ V too. Dunno, but I just cannot stand VI for too long.

I mean frankly at this point a Civ game should come with some gameplay on (at least) the Moon (and then maybe Mars as a DLC) later on. **** if we're at it why not just build Alpha Centauri into it, even if it's a bloody DLC or expansion

The expansions for Civ 6 did improve it immensely.

Playing the hell out of it lately and the latest DLC which was released yesterday is very well priced (R110)

Back on the subject of Civ7:

You can het Civ 6 mobile with most of the DLC if you subscribe to Netflix

And you know what?
The mobile version is pretty damn good

Basically identical to the PC version
The smaller screen is a pain of course, but otherwise no issues

DLC does change it yeah, you can get the base game on Xbox, playing on Xbox sucks.
I normally play on my Rog Ally but controller and Civ doesn't always work.

Touch controls work perfectly

The only issue I have is you need to touch and hold to get a popup description of a tile or unit, but then your finger is in the way of the popup and becomes annoying to read

Other than that, it's smooth, even on a huge map. No lag. Doesn't drain the battery. Think I played for about an hour during lunch and used about 15% of the power

That said, I've got a Honor X9B which is a pretty powerful device

Hmm I'll give it a try again, as I did have it on my tablet previously and it ran okay just felt janky. But after playing on the Rog Ally it will probably be fine now.

CIV 7 super let down.
Old CIV you could determine how you want to win. There is no option for global domination. Pluttering along thinking you are ahead then bam game over. Other smuck built more wonders.

No point for combat units there aren't any wars. You just need a few to fend off some initial attacks but that's it.
