My ADSL has been down since Friday morning on the Clareinch exchange. When I logged a call I was told the fault is at the exchange. It came back briefly on Saturday but then has been down again since Saturday evening. I don't even get a blinking DSL light, which means it's not even attempting to sync. Calling the helpline (10210) is an exercise in frustration - "we are experiencing high call volumes" blah, blah, and end up on hold for more than an hour. When I eventually get through, all they can tell me is the fault is at the exchange and one of the engineers is looking at it. I've got no clue what the actual fault is. Is it affecting anyone else? Have pm'd @telkomza last night, but no luck yet.
