Ok so I was looking around on my few level 80's and actually found my Druid to be pretty awesome now (Resto)

My Mage (Frost) is just seriously insane and so much fun to raid with <3

My Warrior (Protection) I tried to tank one heroic just as the servers came up. DPS kept on leaving because they pull aggro. Just never tried again after that.

Warlock (I never played him just just changed his new talents)

Pala (same as the Lock)

Overall I'm now stuck between the druid and the mage as my favourites, but with me saying that what do you guys playing Shamans and Rogues experience?

I have both very close to 80 and thinking of maybe giving them a spin again before Cata comes. From what I saw in the raids Enchancement seems to be pretty insane. Rogues are just 1shotting everyting in BG's .....

Pls advise?

resto druids is pretty OP yeah.

warr tanks single threat is insane, seeing 30k shield slams, warr tank doing 8k+ dps in prot spec >.<

Got WoR link? I want that sort of dps :p I was hitting 7.6k dps on trash in ICC25 this weekend

WTB Bloodvenom Blade for tanking

I'll just start with saying the game is very broken atm. Sneaky Blizz. Its like we paying them to play on the PTR.

With the above said I am having fun thou.

Druid - Resto is def. fine and they are doing +- the same as before imo. Bit more hot healing, but you can't over as many ppl. Effects looks nice, its a bit more interesting. I'm generally happy

Priest - SP seems ok, they still playing around with it and nerfed it again. generally AOE feels allot lower. DISC is kinda weird, shields feels to small. They brake in half a sec. I hope mastery in Cata fixes it. I almost feel like a 3.3.5 HolyPalla without Beacon, cause of my 1.1 sec Flash heal that heals for 25k, which is our best heal atm cause we don't have mana problems.

Mage - Have not really played him. My close friend is having fun with his thou, and now you made me very interested in this frost thing

Palla - Have not even bothered to spec him. I'll try him out later

Rogue - I've continued to level her the weekend, now 64 as Sub obviously and I still def think a Sub rogue is one of the more fun toons to play (BG) and level. Its interesting with allot of fun abilities. Its nice to be able to decide when u want to enter the action for a change and not just go "O **** here they come"

PVP must be the most broken thing of all atm. Dmg is out of control between classes and its generally just broken. 2, 3 shotting ppl. Prot warriors doing 25k SS, Warriors doing 32k HS's and my Prot Pally friend doing 48k SoR's, locks, well say no more and so on :)
Cata can't come soon enough, hope the beta testing we doing for Blizz atm pays off.

Agreed

After nearly a week for the patch to sink in:

Warrior (Prot): Took some time getting used to aoe changes for tanking, now I'm as comfortable as I was pre-4.0.1 tanking anything - Sitting on 20.30% Dodge, 19.84% Parry and 40.57% block :)

Warrior (Fury): After the recent hotfixes, I'm hitting the same numbers I was before the patch, without gemming properly/reforging

Priest (Shadow): Pewpew lazorz! Did a random dungeon and loved pulling aggro from the tank every time

Priest (Holy): Chakra Renew sucks, Chakra Heal is awesome for dungeons and Chakra Prayer of Healing is epic for aoe encounters - Flash Heal mana cost = Prayer of Healing though :(

Mage (Arcane): 36k crit in Arcane with trinkets/arcane power and 4x arcane blast stacks on 83 Dummy, definitely an improvement despite the nerfs

Shaman (Enhance): I'm only at lvl 71 but the changes turn enhance into the good ol' grinding machine that I remember in TBC

PS Cata cinematic is EPIC in HD and fullscreen ;)

Resto Druid seems very good. Lifebloom is really nice to use. Haven't raided yet, but did HoR and it was pretty easy.

Did 10 man ICC heroic last night with my fury warrior. It went a lot smoother than usual. I still have addon issues, so I did it with the standard Blizz ui for the first time in about 3 years :) , so for me it was a bit frustrating, as I ended up only doing 5.6k dps over the night.

Holy paladins and hunters complained about being nerfed.

not sure if we did wol last night, but just go check any warr tank in icc, 20k+ hs and shield slams ftw. and that was with normal tank wep, not even a dps wep lol

mages is joke, our mages just spamming arcane blast and topping meters on each fight >.<

On druid tanks: Swipe is no longer the spam button. It's only available at lvl 36 and has a 6 sec cooldown.

I'm not divided between leveling my druid or Pally tank. It's quite fascinating, on my rogue i'd wait up to 30mins for a random dungeon @ lvl80, but on my druid tank @ lvl 24-29 the longest I've waited was 5 seconds. It's staggering! Speaking of which ... the dungeon XP thing is quite daunting. I have hardly done any questing since lvl 15 and just roll dungeons non stop. It seems much faster than questing and I'm afraid it'll warp the game for new comers.

There are even a few lvl 80s in our guild who don't have half the flightpoints in game or know where less populated regions are. It's very sad really. My proudest chiefmint is my explorer title, I loooove going around all the places, but I fear that I'll be leveling to 80 by just doing dungeons...

What do you guys make of it?

They have buffed Unholy Death Knights into high heavens. I can only think that they are going to nerf the empowered ghoul somtetime soon.

WTF DPS

20K DPS on a static boss fight is just insane, but my situational awareness is all but gone. I've stopped playing wow and now play the resource game.... WTB less cluttered and random runes please!

Queued as dps by myself ~ 25-35min wait time
Queued as dps with a healer ~ 5-10min wait time
Queue as tank ~ 1-5sec wait time

Seems the Cruelty Battlegroup alliance side has a major shortage of tanks

I have found that wait times for 70-77 been the longest for non dps classes. Atleast the last few weeks, seems everyone is either a tank or a healer, quite strange!
Before this it was quite the opposite.

OT: I must say that although my little, twin pink pony tailed gnome rogue is only level 40, I find it tons of fun in BGs to: /sap /giggle and walk away and watch the hordie run around in circles trying to find me ...

my mage is my main and will always will be. I am currently choosing my "main alt" which has to be a tank. at the moment I am learning towards the druid. I have a druid warrior and paladin alts. I seem to like the druid style the most, I played them all and am able to keep aggro on them all but the druid seems the easiest to tank with, I want it to be easy since its my alt.
