Classic games

What about Wolfenstein 3D? It was the first ever 1st person shooter I played.

have tried emulators before, cant seem to get them to work.

Try Gens, best Genesis emulator I've found so far. Runs from within windows. PM me if you'd like me to send it to you along with a few roms.

Just google for Genesis/Mega Drive, SNES, Commodore etc. roms and emulators, they're widely available. Don't see how it's illegal either because you can't buy these consoles or their games anymore.

How about Street Rod I and II? Thems thare started me on slippery slope of 'pewters

It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, to see the very familiar names of the games that I grew up with :)
Montezuma's Revenge
Sokoban
Dangerous Dave
Spiderman
Crystal Caves
and lots more...

man do I miss those 360KB 5.25" floppy disks on my 4Mhz Redstone XT

PC:
Indiana Jones and the last crusade
Rugby 91? i think(played it endlessly)
California Games
Prince of Persia - one of favourites
Golden Axe
Budokan
Duke Nukem 3D
Mortal Kombat
All Sierra Quest Games
Not sure of this one i think it was called The Games - was based on the Olympic games with hurdles and pole vaulting and gymnastics etc.
Diablo (96 I know)

Arcade:

Double Dragon (if i can get an arcade game of this it will be great the pc version sucks)

Master of Orion II. Anyone have a copy of Master of Orion III? Never played it and copies are very hard to find.

I tried M.O.O. III, but the playability had been lost a bit, it became quite involved species wise and you had to deal more with political things.
After playing II , i was disappointed with the interface on III, and the interface wasnt as user friendly. IMO M.O.O. II was better.

Games I enjoyed :

Prisoner of Xanth
Star Wars Rebellion (fantastic game)
Doom 1 & 2
Heretic 1
Panzer General
Pacific General
Allied General
Star General
Fantasy General
Master of Orion II
Incredible Machine
Railroad Tycoon
Civilisation 1
Age of Empires
7Th Guest
11 Th Hour

A little later and a Microsoft Wheel came the racing games
Need for Speed
Still one of the best racers is Need for Speed :Porsche.

Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2... ace games dune what years though but they are pretty old =)

For the Doom 1 & 2 , Heretic and Hexen fans, there is a program called Doomsday Engine, that allows you to replay these games in high end graphics, I.E. 1280 x 1024.
Its quite small, but the add ons can be quite big, runs in dos box on XP or straight on 98se.
So all those old add on wad files can be played as well.
There is also a converter to convert the old Doom wads to play in Doom 3 for those interested.
