Looking for more information on the weights in ClearOS and the user manual is not great on that neither is the official forum.

I need to know how to set it up so that only one connection is used for internet no matter how how the load and the secondary is just used as failover

Okay, you need to take some time and explain yourself better, I have no idea what you just said.

What weights in ClearOS? What is weights?

You can have only one connection to the internet, this is a bit confusing...

Set the main line as weight 1. Set the 2nd line to the maximum weight (200).

At the office I setup the weights to be an equal 1 (on two 4mb lines), so that my torrents come down at 800kbs :D

Not if you have multiple wan sources. For instance I have 2x 4mb adsl accounts with that cheap IS bandwidth on them. They both come into my clear box and then are load balanced. Weights deal with load balancing. This gives me faster speeds and I can punish those accounts nicely without losing too many stars :D

Basically a weight of 1 and 1, will mean 1 tcp/ip connection goes through one nic and the the next tcp/ip connection will go through the second nic.
