what a joke. I wish premium rated sms's were banned entirely. In my opinion many operators are guilty of blatant theft and fraud, because most people who use these services (including ringtones, games, etc) don't understand how these things work completely (because the text is too small to read, tricky subscri[tion services, etc.)
On an unrelated subject, I urge prepaid cellphone users to check how much they are charged for calls. For Vodacom, this can be done using vodacom4me.co.za. The other day, out of interest i checked by recent transactions on my prepaid sim. It's limited to 10, 3 were service calls, 5 sms's and 2 calls. I picked up something, the one call had a charge of R5.45 for a 68 second call to an MTN number. according to my calculation that call should cost no more that R4 so how do they get that. I'm not gonna take time out of my busy schedule to query a small charge like that, but it certainly makes me think that i'm probably being overcharged quite a few times and so are a lot of people.
