Blasphemy should not be a crime," said Cliff said in an e-mail on Thursday.
For the first time I can recall I actually agree with him.

Fact is: God is not to be played down any where. If you believe in him or not. There is a huge Majority of the World that does belive in God. So if you want to be doing something so utterly stupid, don't do it in the Public broadcasting sector

So what? The majority of people used to believe the world was flat and other such nonsense. Why should anyone pander to the latest fad in imaginary friends?

In his statement he didn't say he doen't believe in God

He said God is petty ;)

Anyone that has read the bible cannot come to any other conclusion than that.

Like tassidar said: anyone who was offended by this must have so little faith left already that they feel they need to lash out at people for questioning it.

Cliff said IF god was offended that easily that would make him a petty fellow. People are, as ever, overreacting. The christians are becoming worse and worse by the day. I am so sick of Cliff being targeted for being nothing more than honest. I wrote a column about him a few months back.

I didn't hear the incident on radio, but reading the news report I would say that chick is just being petty :D

Thanks Vals, and yes that quote is so true; wish I had known it when I wrote my column, would have used it for sure.
