So, on what temp do you set your climate control in the car. I find that 22 C works well for me ?

21 on my side, 22 or 23 on my SO's side, but most of the time in econ mode. Only when outside goes above 25 or so I let the aircon run

My car's handbook suggests 22 as the best option and it does appear to work well but obviously if outside temperatures are very hot or cold that will change.

Why? The whole point of climate control is to keep the cabin at the set temperature. You shouldn't need to adjust it according to outside temps...

If it is 10 outside, you don't want it at 22. It will feel very hot as the difference is too big and you are probably dressed in winter clothes. You will turn it down to 18-ish. On the other hand, if it is 35 outside, you will not set it to 18...

ah ok, I get it.

I don't dress in winter clothes ;)

21. Always. Depending on outside conditions the aircon may or may not be on, but my car attempts to maintain the set temperature regardless.

I hate any form of aircon. Window open is good ;)

Window down only gets one so far. When the air outside is warm, Air-Con is the only way. Also when travelling at speeds more than 80km/h noise warrants the use of Air-Con.

My climate control is usually around 22.

They should change the name to "temperature control", because that's all it does. Climate Control, pffft. Make it snow in my car then you can call it Climate Control.
