"Clips" on Mnet

Clips on MNet is obviously popular as it is back for another season. Now my query is am I the only person who does not enjoy watching other people get, what is in some instances quite clearly very badly, hurt and even worse then find this extremely humorous?

Yes, I do find some clips funny but this is definitely not the ones where people land on their heads or smash into trees at high speed! My friends know not to send me the emails, which others seem to get much enjoyment out of, showing people involved in crashes, broken limps, accidents etc but now I am subjected to this on TV at night.

Anyway as stated just wondering if others share my view or whether most people find this sort of viewing gratifying?

Broken limp? Is that the opposite of a healed walk? :confused: :p

Cringe worthy doesn't necessarily equate to funny, so they are sometimes different forms of entertainment - I endured a few minutes of one episode and decided ever since that I would rather read a book or postwhore on mybb than put myself through it again. Alternatively I could just pick my nose and make pretty shapes, it makes for better entertainment than Clipz.

Jackass is fine. But I do agree that people watching someone else getting severely injured or killed, and find it funny, need their heads read. Unless of course it is so remarkably stupid that it would qualify for a Darwin award. But even on these rare occasions, I would still rather paint my grass and watch it grow and dry at the same time...
 
I agree with you LancelotSA - I don't find people getting hurt funny. My wife explained some of the funny things that were on tonight and told me to come watch, but when I see a guy on a skateboard, at the top of a flight of stairs, I told her I don't want to watch.

And as for blood, guts and gore in real life - I can handle that with ease, esp when somebody needs help. But I no longer choose to watch people breaking limbs.

How else did you tube get famous? by people posting videos of guys riding bikes normally - doing a tripple flip on a skateboard and landing it? parking a car properly?

some people just don't have a sense of humour - take it easy guys, don't live your life so serious...

me neither... I do laugh at their stupidity... but I cringe at the probable pain.

My question was around copyright? Who produces this show? and how do they know they are not violating copyright by showing these clips off the internet?

I also find his radio stuff way better than the TV stuff so I usually don't bother to watch

+1, he is really funny maybe 1 out of 6 times.. The rest of the time is either re-runs or lame..
 
Well I think its satisfying watching the universe righting the ol evolutionary ladder, because someone that thinks he is going to jump from pole to pole without getting hurt, is an idiot, and for the sake of humanity and the chance of taking us a couple of steps back, should be stopped from reproducing.

Seriously, some of the people try the most idiotic stuff. Its as if the whole world is just getting dumber and dumber

They just stealing the clips straight off youtube, you can tell by the grainy flashmovie quality. Original, they are not.
