Closer Packages Getting Cheaper?

I dont know whether this has been discussed before. I search but could not find a post with the answer for this question:

Are the Telkom Closer packages getting cheaper as well with the price reductions in August? I have a hunch that they wont, it may be Telkoms way of balancing out the price reductions. Get people on Closer plans, then reduce some costs which wont affect it.

I don't have the exact prices to hand, but if I recall correctly Closer 4 will drop by about R25 and Closer 5 by about R50.

Naah, Closer 4 is being reduced to R429 from R499 and Closer 5 is being reduced to R651 from R699.

I've got Closer 3 and 384 ADSL at home... I've got my Telkom Account in front of me and these prices seem strange:

Telkom Closer 3: R 164.21
DSL up to 384 R 138.65

??

I suppose if they give the minutes for free and you don't use them you loose them? Why can they not rollover to the next month ???
