i'm very quick to embrace new technology if it is going to be of benefit or entertainment. hell, i been called "gilda, the gadget queen" by some.
however, as far as text messaging goes, to me it is a hindrance & waste of time, i couldn't be arsed typing away back & forth on a stupid little keyboard looking at a tiny screen - for what - save R1 ?
i much rather make the call & say what need to be said, as opposed to getting into a protracted conversation via text.
