Cloud Nine Mattress: Any good?

Bump

Hi all, in the market for a Mattress, is cloud 9 still the Gold standard?

cloud 9 the only chiropractor approved bed in SA.
Its pretty firm, but I cant sleep on anything else now. I have the max load rating on mine.

Finnaly arrived today. It's like worlds apart from what I had...
Looking at the same bed potentially. How's it treating you so far?

Does anyone know from experience if regarding the weight range is less then half of the per person rating would it be too firm?

One I got is still literally perfect (you got to do the rotations). Previous one I got for 130kg and it kakked in less than a year, but then again that wasn't cloud nine but some other make. But is it this is a firm mattress however it literally solved waking up sore where as I was sleeping in a half pipe with the previous one.

I just purchased the Cloud Nine Essential from The Bed Center. Tonight will be the first night of sleep on this mattress. So far feels really good.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend Cloud 9. I bought a Camden model and after a month, both sides dipped in leaving the middle raised. Cloud 9 were great and replaced the mattress, after a month the same thing happened again and now they won't respond. Real kak service. So now we're stuck with a mattress with contours.

Strange have four beds around the house and never had a problem with them. Sold one earlier today and buying Cloud Nine again.

Cloud Nine convert here, have three in the house.

Ours is the Tudor I think (or some other Italian name) with the Latex top.

Couldn’t be happier over the previous pocket coil piece of ****.

Can also highly recommend https://beds-on-line.co.za
Still happy with the Cloud9? Also looking for a new mattress...no idea where to start. Prefer firm.

Any opinions on the Blue range, or worth it to spend a bit more?

Guess you’d need to physically try it.
Yeah. I've seen a lot of people not really liking how hot the foam mattresses get. Think I'll need to go try a few out and see how they feel. Heat not an issue for you?

The heat from the matrass or the heat from the wrestling?

Never experienced this on even the old bog standard foam mattresses and I’m quite sensitive to heat.

But mine has the latest top which specifically counter acts this.

Memory Foam is notorious for heat, maybe you are confusing the two there and it’s why the memory foam tops are not recommended.

Even my memory foam pillow from Cloud 9 is this “gel memory foam” specifically to keep it cool and I suspect it’s just blended with Latex or something.
