Cloudflare went down

Cloudflare, the company, was in a total disconnect when these issues started. They behaved as if it couldn't possibly be them who were down, only to slowly walk it back.

I'm convinced that's their default response on everything until I rope in my CSM almost every time to ask them to actually investigate and not just tell me to split tunnel traffic etc.

Even funnier, there are a load of public chatbots that are dependent on these content nodes. If it needs to fetch data or information from these sources, it is immediately dumbed down. Just shows, AI can have dementia, too, if the network doesn't spark, or so to speak.

Sheez, had a few support queries, we rely on Cloudflare a lot, but this doesn't happen often so you don't think about contingencies.
