Has anyone had much experience with Club 3d Graphics cards? They are 200-300 cheaper than your other brands so would like some opinions

Thanks,

Thanks,

I got one and I'm very happy with it. I've got the 5850 with the custom cooler. So yes, they get a thumbs up from me.

I got a Club3D 5770 overclocked edition about a year ago. Works fine.

I got a club 3d GTX 580... no complaints. Was R1000 cheaper than any other brand.

I have an ATI 6850 thats factory overclocked. It works 100%. The fans seem to be a bit noisy when under some serious load but other than that 100% happy.

I've had both 5970 and 5870 and both worked like a dream. Will definitely recommend.

Brilliant brand to be honest. Good hardware and no Frills or extras added to bump the price by 30%. You get your card and a driver, done

Nowadays most graphics cards are reference designs, so there's no real difference between the different brands in most cases, except for the warranty.

True, but......

Different manufacturers, manufacturing processes, quality of components used, QA systems and standards, etc.

+1 always first thing I look at.....I have really bad luck :/

Agreed.

Poor warranty period; along with "different manufacturers, manufacturing processes, quality of components used, QA systems and standards, etc.", can be a recipe for disaster.

Sticking to the likes of Asus, Gigabyte, and other top tier brands ensures good quality components. And a nice 3 year warranty for extra peace of mind.

Cheaper brands are usually 1 - 2 years' warranty.

5770 1 gig from club3d a year ago . excellent hardware that can withstand upto 90 degrees celcius with the case open lol (summer 2010)

thought my fan was broken but when i checked it was just my ring neck birds feathers stuck in the fan :wtf: howd it get there :D > refer to manual on how to keep birds quiet while gaming .... just joking:p

It overclocks quite comfortably, and it has a different (more effective) cooler than the reference design.
