Will it have servers or is it going to be that fail match up system from the other blops i wasted money on.

@Kiladoob. It will have both matchmaking and dedicated ranked servers but we don't know if we getting servers in SA. We can't order servers from gameservers. Treyarch will be hosting them. That is all we know at this point.

If you do look at the server browser on Black Ops there are some SA Treyarch servers. I assume it will be the same for BO2?
 
K well i will wait before purchasing. I am not going to buy a game with that matchmaking shyte.

We need servers, so i guess i will wait for that to be confirmed and buy from there.
 
Killadoob, there will be dedicated servers, but you can't rent any, predefined servers will be available to play on. There will also be the P2P matchmaking system that they say has been improved. Reasoning for not making publicly (user administrated) available dedi servers is to improve on hacking detection and the chances of people making hax... so they say... This also means there is no means to mod or run modded lobbies... (and they do not intend on there ever being any) I foresee another AlterIWNet again with this...

But I'm still going to play... why not...

i'm busy building a lekker pc, yeah yeah before you come brag with your windows rating at almost a perfect 7.9 not everyone can afford a 2600k and 2k dominator ram but my Asus 7970 Direct CU II top definitely kicks your 560ti ass :p

No, sorry. Since we upgraded the engine to use DirectX11, Windows XP is no longer supported. It requires Windows Vista or later.

You mentioned enhanced graphics for the PC version. Can you tell us more about that?

Black Ops II PC features enhanced lighting, shadows, antialiasing, bloom, depth of field, ambient occlusion, and other enhanced effects that are still in the works. And the game can run at higher resolutions and higher framerates on the PC.



Will there be a framerate cap?

No. Unless you want one. We have included an adjustable FPS cap slider in the game options. The minimum setting is OFF (no cap).
