COD - Black Ops 2

Hows the directional audio

We are finding (XBox) that footsteps suck.
Most of us have Turtle Beach headsets and one of the first perks we work towards is Dead Silence (we play a lot of SnD).
In Black Ops 2 you cannot easily hear footsteps which has negated the need to work your butt off to get Dead Silence. *sigh*. Hope they fix this soon.

Hearing someone defusing the bomb is also close to non existent.

General game sounds are awesome on my PX5's. Thrill for the ears. Quality is very good too.

I'm using Sennheiser PC350's with the ASUS Xonar Xense, Sound ingame needs a little tweaking, bombs volumes are a little over powering, Footsteps are very quiet.

dooby so far the sounds on G35 is good, will test properly tonight and let you know

@BaronZA ... gut feel is this is a winner.... has its minor faults at the moment, but mostly just learning curve we all need to go through. As for if its going to be worth it.... I would say yes, there is a massive COD support base in SA! We will play it even if it is kuk ... lol look at MW3!

FYI, I played over 1000hrs on Black Ops 1 and only 400hrs on MW3, but thats still a whole lot of hours... and when Black Ops 1 came out, it was horrid, hence its "BLOPS" nickname. But it eventually got sorted after many patches.

Ah I will give it a shot end of the month! Roll on pay day! :D

So anyone notice that 2.8Gb zombie update last night? Jislaaik... Was looking forward to jamming a bit last night, but the SP,MP and zombies couldn't run because of update. Eventually just paused it, restarted, and could play SP.

Marchant what time was the update? I never had a update for zombies, Me and some my friends played some last night round 9.

Eh about 19:30 ish, noticed my icons of BLOPS2 changed, tried running the game and got an error, noticed steam was downloading a 2.8gb file for zombies.

Ah wait, found something:

#3 Black Ops 2 Error – Dependency Failure Error When Launching Game - What i got

fark ... 2.8gb Zombi update wth!?! Have not played it yet.... Anyone else feel the pace of Black Ops 2 is too fast? or am I just getting to slow???

You do know that you can change the sound reproduction in the game itself ? I'll check what the setting is once I'm home, but I'm pretty sure that will change sounds of the game itself. Almost like the "Hi-Fi" and "Cinema" sound settings of BF3.

Quick question guys, how do I play Multiplayer where I actually build XP? Ja I know, I feel like a corky asking this.

Tried again last night, just says finding match, runs through 50 matches, then reruns again.

Not sure If I'm supposed to connect directly to matches or something, I'm used to Battlelog...

Aaah matchmaking is always a stuff up... so dissapointing. Just make 100's of steam friends and connect to them.

As dooby says... this match making is f u c k u p .... Its the biggest fail in gaming history. Server browsers should have been implemented. And a queuing system like BF3, ffs, that would have been better. I sat for 35 minutes trying to join on friends... what a effing eff up! I love the game, but ffs, let me play!
