COD - Black Ops 2

1) Nat Type -Moderate
2) A WISP using MWEB
3) Limpopo
4) From PC to router to WIFI to ADSL (but the everything is smooth with little or no loss and low pings until the packet hit Jo'burg's MWEB connection)

I have always had problems with the matchmaking of COD, very little success in joining friends, although I can usually join Cornerboy who sits literary on the other side of the country and who seem to only play S&D nowadays.

Most of the time I end up with international players, Germans mostly who are very nice people, the French are probably the whiniest immature players in the world and that list includes South African League players.

In MW3, with the exception of the slight delay in the game, everything was actually much smoother than the occasional SA game that I join. Also, I prefer objective based games, so I just said screw it and play Domination or so with the Ints, I tire very quickly nowadays of TDM and S&D is just not me.

LOL yeah, they removed it ;)

It's still available under custom games, but not under normal rotation from what I read :D

EDIT: It's coming back under a new playlist called "Chaos Moshpit" in the next day or two so all is not lost.

Give the people a taste and then take it away only to include it in a DLC??? Yeah VERY smart move... Money hungry sharks I tell you.

I tried for about an hour to play another game mode besides TDM... ended up playing tdm.:(
 
I get games, but for some reason my hit reg is up to ****!

With a SHOTGUN I am unable to hit a guy standing next to me... wtf?? I shot a guy 4 times as close as point blank twice hip firing and twice ADS - NOTHING.... I got so frustrated that I just left.

Happened more than once as well. I am assuming it is lag compensation, I have a ROG Maximus V with a i7 3770 and 16GB Dominator Platinum RAM and H100 cooling. I run at close to 200FPS with me being the first person into every game I connect to. I reckon I am seeing the guy but by the time I shoot lag comp has him registered somewhere else.

When I watch the kill cam I am shooting at air, but on my screen I am shooting headshots. So frustrating... I was looking forward to a good game. :(

Mine is a little better but I still notice some low ping lag. Hopefully a few patches solve these issues... remember what an abortion black ops 1 was when it came out.
 
I have Tweeted MWEB Game Zones for some answers wrt The amount of servers per game type. I'm sick & tired of only finding German & Frenchies..... I have no issue with Hit register tbh, even in International, allthough it be a little lagged then (expected)...

As for maps, I hate the two ship maps... they are kaaaaak! They need some more open / outdoor type maps... less corridors & buildings. Must be BF3's fault, those are open / big maps... now that I'm used to them, COD maps feel tiny! lol.

Basically it means we cant force local & to get more that 6 peeps you need to do ground war.

i have an issue already (more steam related i think). i installed the game this morning before work and played around 45min, and now when i want to play again, it says i have to install the game. had similar issues with cod bo I, but can't remember how to fix it

I have the exact same problem. My ping is 12ms constant, but in game,it takes 24 shots to take a dude down. They have already knifed me while I have shot them atleast 5 times. Needless to say, I have left a lot of games due to rage quitting.
 
There was a patch last night... Lets hope it improves things...
