COD black ops ..... you getting it ?

Well I can hardly feel bad buying this game, since I skipped both World at War and Modern Warfare 2. I needed a new multiplayer FPS to play, MoH sucked completely and BF3 is way too far off to wait that long. :)

The sadest thing about this is. That most of the people buying this game likes to be non conformist. They only support non commercial music but yet support the most commecial publication OF ALL TIME. Activision is the "fast food" of gaming and you that buy their products are the fat North American white trailer trash that doesnt understand the consept of a home cooked meal.
Is this supposed to make any sense?^^^, learns howz to speaks the englisheshiz before you types maybe idea good it is?

people that buy Black Ops, like to be non conformist? lol really
They only support non commercial music - i didnt know that tell me more, but support Activisions publications
You know what they say about assumptions?
Its the mother of all $%^Ups like your post
:)

Its R439 @ BtGames or take 2 and kalahari. Roughly R420 when buying over steam.

Lets say you play 3 times a week for a year - That would be R3 per day. Sheer madness? Whatever :D

R500 odd. And paying so much for a PC game is a bit harsh because there isn't really a reseller market for PC games. So after you played the game through and unlocked every possible thing, the game will just gather dust, unlike console games.

Show me another form of entertainment that comes close to the value of an online game?

Are you talking about the single player?

You do know we talk about the multiplayer. Btw, I ordered over steam, so there is nothing catching dust :D

I never argued about the quality of the game, nor the amount of satisfaction that this title will guarantee, but instead just about the fact of forking out R500 every year for a game that will be replaced the following year.

Entertainment wise, if you were to add up the costs e.g of having to see a movie every night of the year, it will be far greater than that of a game. The SP component of COD offers by far the best entertainment of any SP shooter game. And the same goes for the MP which is pretty flawless.

But from a competitive point of view, having a new title being released each year (usually resulting in the game being neglected by the creators and community) instead of say every 2nd or 3rd is to some extent frustrating.

I can't agree that movies would be better entertainment wise. And the costs involved from watching a movie a day!? If you were to watch one movie a week it would work out to more than R3000 in a year...... and that's without popcorn and a drink.

At one movie a week with an average of let's say 2 hours a movie you'll be looking at less than 110 hours of entertainment. In the year of playing MW2 I've put it close to 130 hours playtime which cost me R450.

I actually welcome a new game every year. If you've played a game for over 100 hours it can get a bit stale. Rather bring something fresh in each year.

You should add the cost of your ADSL subscription to your calculation to be fair, though we are in agreement regarding gaming.

It has just arrived, thanks to kalahari :D

So unfair!!

I pre-ordered the game via take2 and got my tracking number yesterday, but this morning when I went to the post office my package hasn't arrived yet and they told me to come back tomorrow :(

Mine was delivered early this morning, thanks Kalahari, you guys ROCK!!

:)

That's what I said, movie every night would end up costing you way more than a game.
