rofl. I have to agree, I can't get myself to play anything else, but CODMW2. I get home and start steam, play till 18:15 (HOUSE FTW) and after house, play till I can't convince myself anymore to not go sleep. :D

How popular is MW2 compared to BO? I feel like some change from BO, so was wondering if MW2 is still a good option. :)

As well, looking to buy one (1) of the COD franchise products and would like to know the relative popularity of MW, MW2 and BO in SA. Any input/insight would be kindly appreciated
 
Guys, MW2 is EXTREMELY quiet since BO. Remember that MW2 does not have dedicated servers so unless you have a friends list as long as your arm and some of those guys still play MW2, don't expect to find a game within 15 - 20 minutes.

BO is pretty popular - there are heaps of servers and a couple of them are always full. The games issues hampers it to such an extent that some people are going back to MW2 anyways. (Considering this myself)

Don't get me wrong, the gameplay is awesome and the maps are cool. Just all the issues (Ping issues, Disconnects, general Bugs) are getting on most people's nerves!

In all, MW2 was an awesome game although we did not think so at the time. It had a few teething issues, but one little patch and it was all sorted! The only drawback now is that there are not a lot of players left on MW2...
 
Just played it for the first time now. It sucked. Not the game, the community. Bunch of turds swearing at each other and souring everyone's day because they can't stand losing. Don't have time to deal with such **** in my multiplayer games. Will happily go back to TF2 or buy CoD4. Lack of dedicated servers is the reason this game's multiplayer sucks.
