COD MW3

im a bit disappointed that they have included even more killstreaks, not to mention the return of deathstreaks, was hoping they would go back to the cod4 formula, ie: gun on gun skill, mw3 will be more of the same... so expect lots of camping for streaks and "l33t" mlg pro quickscoperzzzz losing s and d matches for the team because they were trying to get a 360 no scope off a roof, bf3 ftw!

Ok, so I read the game will have LAN support, but I'm not sure what that really means. Will it be like old MW2's system link? Or will I need to connect everybody to an internet connection just to LAN in my home like Forza 3?

Lol, funny how they can all of a sudden offer it 'for free' when there's a R400 price tag on it - over above the game already.
 
Well Kyubi said it was "free" with the quotes, and he was refferring to how it would make COD elite worth it. So yeah still worth it IMO... plus theres a ton of fun things to do if you in a clan.

Both Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops have Lan support and its probably going to be like Forza 3. You all need to be signed into steam.

Thanks for the answer, my group will get it for Xbox 360, since MW2 has system link (no Live connection needed), I'll hope it'll stay the same with MW 3 :)
 
But now.

If you have Elite, but some of your clan members don't then you wont get the full experience of elite, would you?

If I am correct it wont work that well if you clannies don't opt for the Elite

@Acid0 - I would assume so. if more than 1 member in the clan has Elite then you both would probably get the benefits?
 
I will get Elite just for the DLC at the end of the day, not very interested in the rest.

I'm more interested in the rest than the DLC. So keen to see how it all works, particularly the clan stuff.
