COD4 Lag

Anyone else experiencing high pings when playing COD4 on the SGS servers? Mine go from 60+ to 400+ then back down again, makes gaming really crap. I am experiencing high pings when I play WOW as well - normally around 400ms but lately spiking to 1000+ and up disconnecting me from the server. What can I do to better this? Besides getting unshaped

It could have something to do with the load shedding. DNS servers going down etc. I'm just guessing...

I also noticed that when I browse servers I see about 100ms average, yet when I join it goes down to +- 60ms.

Well whatever it is its K@K! I can't play any online games what is the point of having ADSL then. There is only so much surfing one can do

Solved it - rebooted my router and bang everything cool again, but now i am tired and going to sleep

How would I know?

SGS is perfect... they never do anything wrong... its ALWAYS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha.
