CoD4 Xbox 360 - Problem finding games online!!!

Not sure if this has been discussed already but, I was playing quite a lot of CoD4 on XBL and built up what I think is a pretty respectable addiction. But now whenever I try and get online, I go through the motions and when I try to find a game, it searches and searches. I leave the machine searching and it keeps searching for as long as I leave the machine on. It just never finds a game. All other online games work just fine... anybody know what I can do to sort this out. :confused:
 
I'm getting the same, I believe alot of ppl have moved on, a large majority are playing the COD 5 multiplayer beta, add me to your friends list, I played a couple of games with locals last night. GT : Bondizzo
 
This is a problem that I get as well. Try to get as many SA players on your friends list and you will never have a problem finding games and the other bonus is that it will be lag free. Go have a look here and add a few people. http://www.xbox-360.co.za/forum/call-duty/

This game is still very active on the SA scene.

yeah i also had that problem and it seems like when you search for games, it only joins those games whose ping from you to them is low.

add me to your friends list, i also play with online peeps every now and again. and it seems like people like cod4 more than cod5 anyways. i know i do ;)

I thought about dealing with that in my original post. I'm addicted to CoD4 to the point that I tried BF: BC and I am still jonesing for some CoD!!!

I tried BF the other day, definitely cool and definitely worth playing!! But!!!! The last time I played, I ended up on a team where one of my guys thought it would be more fun to start shooting the people on his own team the whole time??!?! Have u have the same experience?
 
Once or twice, but you get that in any game. In BF you find that'll happen if you take something they want, like the arty.

AH!!?? There were a few occasions when my team mates displayed some really weird behavior......like trying to kill me!

Heh heh,

It's a sandbox, sometimes the guys just stuff around, but more than likely (I'm guilty of this :blush:) You don't see the tag for whatever reason, and can't remember which side you're on and when they fire over your shoulder you panic and shoot back.

My funniest was about a week ago, (about 1am in my defense) I'm hiding overlooking backyard on Ascension and I turn around and there's a Sniper sneaking up on me so I fired, but caught myself just in time. So feeling guilty and playing support I ran over to give him a med pack and in my tired stupid, while standing over him I stupidly hit "Y" instead of "RB" to switch to medpacks :eek:

As you know that whips something else out, and besides he loss of 15 points, I think I earned myself a neg rep for that :o

Sometimes ***** just happens you know how many times I've driven over teamies as they spawn while I'm doing evasive manoeuvres trying to avoid a laser guided bomb ...
