A friend of mine has started developing a community developer site and has asked me to post it on some local communities:

Hey guys n gals,

I've begun designing and developing a online programming community.

You can sign up to be notified when it is complete.

Some functions of the site will include:

1. Tutorials and Sample Resources
2. A blog with community chat (+ Q&A)
3. An event calendar
4. Twitter feed
5. An ask and we shall produce section

Let me know your thoughts and any ideas you may have.

There will be no popups nor paid for sections etc.
