Been having major instability, high pings and disconnects in Colbyn area (West of Gordon Road) for the better part of 2 weeks now. About two blocks down there is a telkom exchange standing completely open near a building site with no one in attendance. Traceroutes show major *** at the DSLAM. Pings jumping between 40-50 and 200+ ms.
Anyone else seeing this or in surrounding areas? (Queenswood, Hatfield etc)

And yes I am well aware that the performance from the MTN business network is also screwed at the moment, and I am also pursuing that with my ISP, but the tests are showing that the local exchange is buggered. Congestion issues or something? I don't know, but it's been absolutely fine for the last 9 months or so since I moved here.
