Cold Calling - Number Came from Vodacom.

Just got a cold call from an agent working for Metropolitan. I asked them where they got my number.

Clear as day, she said "Metropolitan got it from your network, Vodacom".

Why is this still happening?

Please send me the name and contact details of this person and I'll contact them.

Vodacom does not give out numbers. FULL STOP.

But I suspect you will never send me the details, won't you? In all the posts where you claim Vodacom did this or Vodacom did that, you've NEVER ONCE send me the details, even after repeated requests, so we could investigate.

Why would this be?

I've always assumed that if I take the time to read the fine print of the original contract I signed with Vodacom in detail I will find that I have given them permission to give out my number and details.
